Westcliff Heights is an upscale 62+ retirement community for active seniors located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. My client constructed an additional building on the existing property and wanted to showcase the facility in their portfolio. The new facility was built to match the existing infrastructure and to add more living space. Occupancy is 100% at the time of this project so the new building was a much needed addition. I met some great people who asked me many questions about why I was taking photographs of the buildings and we exchanged many life stories as so often happens with retirees. The landscaping is notable and has won awards in the area. The Southwestern Spanish-style architecture is a marked difference from the client’s modern facilities commonly built all around the Northwest.
