This beautiful Spokane home was recently updated, and the designer called me in to photograph the new additions. Every detail of this house was top notch, from the rustic cherry kitchen cabinets (and cherry floors.. and cherry trim all around the house, wow!) to the open timber beams and tongue-and-groove paneling on the ceiling. In the kitchen, you will see hammered copper light fixtures and a steel range hood which were both hand made in Colorado. In the living room there is a hand made clock fashioned by an artist from steel gears and parts – which I found fascinating. Of all the hardwoods, Rustic Cherry is my favorite and this house wears it beautifully.
