Rolls Royce Phantom Aviator Edition

Rolls Royce Phantom Aviator Coupé

This very rare Rolls Royce Phantom Aviator Edition is was for sale in Reno Nevada (it appears to have sold)  Only 35 of them were made in 2013 and all are this silver and grey color combination.  If you look closely, the hood and windshield (including the triangular side windows) resemble the cockpit of an airplane, and the gauges are modeled after those in aviation, with orange tips on the dial pins.  The ceiling of the car lights up with thousands of “stars” at night.  This car is the ultimate luxury automobile.

Built as a celebratory model to company’s co-founder Charles Stewart Rolls and the 1930s Supermarine S6B racing seaplane, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator Edition comes with a unique Aviator Grey paint finish that’s contrasted by a matte bonnet, a matte window, matte grill surrounds, and plenty of airplane inspirations.

Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös explained the rationale behind building the limited edition Phantom Coupe. “Our founding forefather Charles Stewart Rolls was a pioneer who pushed the boundaries of motoring and aviation to the limit,”

“With our exclusive Phantom Coupé Aviator Collection we celebrate this great British hero, presenting a car which hints at experiments in early flight married to the best engineering, modern design and exquisitely crafted materials.”
